Walking Program

Indoor walking operates on a free drop-in basis from 8:00 to 5:00 pm daily. Unless otherwise noted, on Cougars game days walking is available 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Walking will be closed on event days, as well as for set up and cleanup of those events. Please check the online calendar.

The CN Centre is closed for walking on statutory holidays and on days where an event is scheduled.

There is no charge to walk indoors at the CN Centre and the program is open to all ages.

Yes. Depending on event and user demands, the walking schedule may change. We will do our best to update the online walking calendar, so please refer to the calendar to double-check the concourse's availability.

Nope. The CN Centre's walking program is meant for walkers. Running, jogging, skateboarding, scootering, in-line skating, dry-land training, or other forms of non-walking activities are not allowed.

Please note baby strollers are permitted on the concourse.

Yes. Accessible washrooms are open for use.

• 3.6 laps = 1 km 

• 5.75 laps = 1 mile

One lap around:

• The inside lane = 900 feet or 274 metres

• The middle lane = 920 feet or 280 metres

• The outside lane = 960 feet or 293 metres

The following directions will be used for walking throughout the week:

Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays: Clockwise direction through the main concourse

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays: Counterclockwise direction through the main course

Signage will be displayed throughout the concourse indicating the correct direction daily.

No proof of vaccination is needed to walk at this time.

Please feel free to bring a water bottle inside the CN Centre for your walk.
