  • The CN Centre is a smoke-free venue. There are no in-out privileges for smoking during events.


Recording devices

  • Professional cameras and audio/video recording devices are not allowed at performances.
  • Guests must check all recording devices at the door. A claim ticket will be given to retrieve devices after an event.
  • CN Centre staff reserve the right to ask guests to check in equipment during an event.
  • Some events may allow specific types of recording devices. Contact the CN Centre for more information.


Public Safety Inspections

The CN Centre may conduct public safety inspections to ensure guest safety when required by an event. Management will determine the need for and the level of inspections performed to prevent banned and illegal items from entering the CN Centre.

Such items may include:

  • Illegal drugs or paraphernalia.
  • Weapons
  • Cans or bottles.
  • Cameras, video cameras, and other recording devices.
  • Alcohol
  • Throwable objects
  • Large signs
  • Laser pointers
  • Large purses and backpacks
  • Non-service animals
  • Fireworks
  • Artificial noise makers
  • Coolers


Outside food and drink

  • Outside food and drink are not allowed without prior arrangement with the CN Centre.


Infants and children

  • All guests attending an event – including infants and children – must have a ticket.


In-out privileges

  • Guests are not allowed to enter or exit the building and return during a single ticketed event.


Lost and found

Lost items

  • Guests who lose an item can report it to the CN Centre Administration Office next to the box office. Please leave contact information, the item description, and where and when it was lost.
  • The CN Centre will contact the item's owner if found. Out-of-town-guests may have the item shipped to them at their expense.
  • The CN Centre will verify a guest's identification when claiming a lost item. Guests must also sign a receipt to acknowledge pick-up.

Found items

  • Items found in the CN Centre are returned to the Administration Office.
  • All found items are stored in a secure location.
  • The CN Centre will contact owners if a lost item contains contact information.
  • Guests looking to claim a found item must describe the item in detail. Upon claiming an item, a guess will need to sign a receipt to acknowledge pick-up.

Unclaimed items

  • The CN Centre keeps found items for approximately 90 days.
  • After 90 days, unclaimed items will be disposed of or donated to a non-profit agency.
