Walking Program
CN Centre's indoor concourse is closed for the summer. Indoor walking is expected to reopen on Monday, October 17, 2022.
General Questions
When is indoor walking available? |
Walking is available Monday to Friday with three, two-hour sessions*:
On PG Cougar game days, only one morning sessions from 8:30am to 11:00am is available. |
Is walking available on statutory holidays? |
No. The CN Centre is closed for walking on statutory holidays and on days where an event is scheduled. |
How much does it cost to walk at the CN Centre? |
There is no charge to walk indoors at the CN Centre and the program is open to all ages. |
Will there be signs at the CN Centre showing walkers where to go? |
Yes. Signs will direct you where to enter and leave the CN Centre as well as which direction to walk. |
Can I run or jog inside the CN Centre's concourse? |
No. The CN Centre's walking program is meant for walkers. No running, jogging, skateboarding, scootering, in-line skating, dry-land training, or other forms of non-walking activities are allowed. Please note baby strollers are permitted on the concourse. |
Are washrooms open during walking sessions? |
Yes. Accessible washrooms are open for use. |
Registration Questions
Do I have to register to walk? |
Yes. Everybody must register to walk at the CN Centre (no drop-ins allowed). Registration is now open. There are two ways to register:

How far in advance can I register? |
You can register up to 72 business-day hours in advance right up before a session starts. |
Can I register on behalf of someone else? |
Yes, you can register for someone else as long as they have separate account in our registration system. |
Health and Safety
Do I need proof of vaccination to walk at the CN Centre? |
At this time, no. |
Do I need to check in at the front entrance? |
At this time, no. |
Can I bring food and/or drink into the building? |
You can only bring a water bottle inside the CN Centre for your walk. No other forms of food or drink are allowed. |
Who do I talk to if I have questions or concerns during my walk? |
You may speak to the CN Centre staff member at the entrance. |
